After launching numerous brands for a wide variety of clients, Tarik Koivisto created and launched the brand Luxe Provence, a slow fashion and lifestyle brand celebrating effortless chic, Provence style beginning with the design of iconic three cypress tree logo and brand identity. Tarik defined a clear brand strategy, and product offering that appealed to her definition of the ideal audience and the brand was met with great success to discerning clients around the globe, particularly Americans. For the print application and packaging, a rose gold-foil was used in pure white substrates with very heavyweight papers for a haute-de-gamme, luxury feel.

Tarik is a pioneer in creating innovative product offerings, beginning first with the Luxe Provence Subscription Box that immediately sold-out upon launch, which evolved into the Luxe Provence Slow Fashion brand that it is today after introducing her own product line to her loyal clients with great success. Tarik and the Luxe Provence brand and product lines have been featured on TF1 and ToutMa Magazine in France, as well as, internationally in the prestigious home and fashion magazines as: Vogue, Marie Claire, InStyle, Veranda, Who What Where and Veranda Magazine.

Tarik Koivisto was honoured to shoot the Luxe Provence Fete 2021 campaign at the magical Château Charleval – Provence Art Gallery. Originally constructed in 1854, this rare Renaissance style chateau and its four hectare sculpture garden in a sleepy village in the Luberon has been preserved and turned into an incredible modern art gallery by philanthropist, entrepreneur, sculptor and art collector, Daniel Rocher. Tarik Koivisto was hired to design, develop and launch a new luxury brand that better reflected the agency’s 45 years combined experience of offering premium level travel experiences and unique itineraries for international clients across France. Tarik developed the brand beginning with a logo design that reflected the team’s exclusive ability to unlock unique doors that remain firmly shut for most, such as VIP landmark visits featuring the Champs Elysée with a keyhole, an iconic French symbol that clearly communicates the company’s mission. Tarik proceeded to develop the brand identity, content strategy, branded imagery and website design, along with writing all content including, keyword rich SEO for the website and developed a Press Kit for agencies and magazines. Finally, she designed the luxury gift packaging with gold-foil business cards, and a companion stationery and gift notecard for VIP clients to communicate the brand’s expertise, high-quality services and exceptional luxury offerings. The Luxe Provence 2025 Slow Living collection was shot at the Luberon’s Domaine de la Barielle with the goal of creating ethereal images that emphasized the brand’s slow fashion values and ethics in contrast of the fast, fashion movement.  The goal with the images were to create a peaceful and beautiful brand campaign to contrast the stress of current times and reinforcing the brand’s values of slow living. All of the Luxe Provence collections are ethically made in France in two women-run ateliers in Provence and Paris. The brand’s slow fashion mission is on local ethical production, mindful consumption and using only sustainable or natural materials for their collections to create in harmony with the planet.

Founder/Creative Director, Tarik Koivisto, created a new website design for a pioneer in the wellness space, Birch and Fern Holistic that encapsulated the innovative founder’s mission, rich story, holistic approach, vast expertise and unique services to allow for online consultation bookings while showcasing her new apothecary product line.

Tarik Koivisto was asked to design a new holistic wellness website for a licensed clinical herbalist and astrologer focusing on holistic healing. The site needed to incorporate an online store for her exciting new plant-based apothecary line and consultation bookings. The design and storytelling needed to interweave the client’s vast diverse experiences, credentials, holistic services and education in a cohesive way to stand out in the herbalist and wellness consulting space to appeal to new clients across the USA, while reflecting the client’s rich and unique Minnesota heritage.

Luxe Provence’s Golden Era Collection was inspired and shot by Creative Director, Tarik Koivisto, in the sublime, historic gardens of the late iconic, Vogue Photographer, Henry Clarke. The Aumonerie is located on the French Riviera, and its villa and gardens entertained many famous celebrities and Vogue models throughout the 50’s – 60’s, including the likes of Grace Kelly. This Luxe Provence collection was inspired by the elegance of this exciting time in the French Riviera. The project began with identifying an opportunity to update the current client brand name of ‘Explore’ which was too general and commonplace, to a name that better referenced the clients’ strengths in bringing history and culture to life through her engaging European tours and rich education in art history. After multiple rounds of naming and tagline development, together with the client we finalized the new brand name to Époque.  To ensure the name represented Sandra’s niche travel services and offered a clear positioning statement to her clients, we chose the tagline, The Art of Travel.

The new identity design incorporates a key historic reference, the statue of Apollo, one of Sandra’s favorite art history pieces that serves as the main brand icon and quickly symbolizes European art and culture, referencing her specialization in her tailored tour services. The typeface chosen features elements of movement, fluidity and elegance combined with a classic serif type to integrate undertones of travel.  These elements were finalized with a regal frame in a bronze color scheme that referenced a historic medallion the client chose and brought the new identity design together. The logo design will be foil printed in bronze to a variety of white or dark grey thick papers for a luxury feel.  “I am so happy with the final result, this is exactly what I was looking for. You nailed it right on.  It is beautiful, elegant, classy and classic, hints of prestige, connotations of history and travel all in one – really, it’s perfect. Thank you, again.”

The Luxe Provence Escape Collection played upon the months of Covid-induced confinement and featured vacation and seaside imagery in resort wear silhouettes designed to escape the harsh past few months. The campaign included a social media video one-shot take of Louise swimming in the Mediterranean Sea in stunning Cassis in her Luxe Provence linen dress.
